Johnny Guarnieri was an American jazz and stride pianist from New York City.
He joined the George Hall orchestra in 1937 but he is best known for being in the Benny Goodman and Artie Shaw big bands.
Guarnieri is also noted for his creative mixture of jazz with classical piano, such as Scarlatti and Beethoven.
