Page Cavanaugh was a pianist, composer and singer whose trio was a popular jazz group for many years.
Early in his career with his trio, Cavanaugh appeared with Frank Sinatra at the Waldorf-Astoria on NBC Radio shows and several movies. he Page Cavanaugh Trio had chart hits such as “The Three Bears” and “She Had to Go and Lose It At the Astor.”
At age 20, he joined the Bobby Sherwood band until he was drafted during World War II. While in the Army he joined the Three Sergeants, a trio with Al Viola on guitar and Lloyd Pratt on bass. After the war, they became he Page Cavanaugh Trio.
