Description
From “Hello Mary Lou” to “Garden Party”, Rick Nelson cemented his place in rock & roll history.
Rick was the first artist to utilize television to promote his recordings on his family’s television series “The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet”. Rick had a long string of hits in the 50’s and 60’s and his recording of “Garden Party” showcased his ability to remain a top artist. He continued to produce great recordings in rock and country music throughout his career.
This recording of “Rick Nelson Live At The Troubadour” was recorded shortly before his untimely death and it shows why he was such a great showman. For this show Rick did what he always did, he performed all of the hits his fans wanted to hear plus a few new songs including a few he had just written.
This is pure musical enjoyment and an album everyone should own.
